Senior Counsel

Thomas Reinholt

Thomas advises technology and creative businesses on IP ownership, licensing and technology agreements.

Thomas works with software companies, agencies and brand owners on the agreements that determine who owns and who may use intellectual property.

Before law, he worked as a software developer, which helps when an agreement needs to describe what a product actually does.

He regularly supports the startup practice on IP diligence ahead of financings.

Thomas drafts and negotiates SaaS customer terms, software development agreements and technology licences, and runs chain-of-title reviews before financings and acquisitions. He coordinates trademark clearance and filings for new brands and works with registered patent practitioners when a matter involves patents.
